Our goal and our mission is to minimise the levels of wasted good food whilst providing free/affordable food to members of our local community. We are not just about feeding our community on food, we are about growing connectedness and participation within our community.

HeBrews is open from 9.30am - 2.30pm Tuesday-Friday during term time. We use the food we claim from our donors during school holidays to run holiday projects, under the Loaves & Fishes banner, to ensure local school children have access to fresh nourishing food outside of term time.

Everyone is welcome in our coffee shop as Hebrews 13 v2 tells us ‘Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares’

At HeBrews we have worked hard to make our Coffee Shop is as safe as possible during these difficult times.  We have made every effort to minimise any Covid risk to all our customers and volunteer team with clear instructions at the entrance and the use of hand sanitiser, spacing of tables and cleaning of furniture between customers.

If you wish to make an enquiry or book a table for lunch please contact Kellie using the phone number or link below at the bottom of this page.

Great News!

Funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, distributed by the Community Foundation for Surrey, enabled us to purchase a new dishwasher and refurbish our sink area in the kitchen to a commercial standard. This project was completed in April 2021.

Chertsey Combined Charity generously donated a grant for the cost of brown lunch bags given out at the Loaves & Fishes lunch project during the 2021/2021 academic year.

Henry Smiths Charity awarded a grant, in September 2021, which covered the cost of the 3,000 lunch bags for the 2021/2022 lunch projects at Christmas, Easter and Summer.

Hebrews has been selected as one of the causes to be voted for, by Tesco customers, from 1st October to 31st December 2021.  It is hoped that this will support the purchase of new cool bags and other supplies for our lunch projects.  Your support will be much appreciated; pick up your token with each purchase and vote for Hebrews!
