Alateen Alateen is part of the Al-Anon fellowship and is for young people, aged twelve to seventeen (inclusive), who are affected by a problem drinker.

Runaway Helpline 0808 800 7070 - National 24 hour helpline for anyone aged 17 or under who has run away or been forced to leave home or care. Give advice, make referrals to other organisations and can help a child or young person get to a place of safety. Can also pass a message to enable them to get in touch with their family or carers.

Shelter 0808 800 4444 - You don't have to be living on the street to be homeless. You may be legally classed as homeless if you are sleeping on a friend's sofa, staying in a hostel, or suffering from overcrowding or other bad conditions. Homelessness can often be avoided if you act quickly and get the right help. If you have nowhere to stay, call Shelter's helpline or use their directory to find a local advice centre.

Alcoholics Anonymous 0845 769 7555 - Is drinking costing you more than money? Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

Narcotics Anonymous 0300 999 1212 - NA is a non-profit Fellowship of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. NA are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop using.
