Giving to the Church PDF Print E-mail

A message from Ben Beecroft to the St Paul's congregation.

I am very excited about all of the recent developments for the life of our church, and the possibilities they open up for us to be an increasing blessing to our town, and to see many more people come to a saving faith in Jesus for themselves. It will require from many of us a greater level of sacrifice in our giving, but I am confident together we will genuinely want to support much needed ministry into Addlestone, not least our secondary school Jubilee High. In the autumn we will be having a stewardship campaign that will help us to look in more depth at what we currently give as a church and what we need to give in order to do all that we believe the Lord is calling us to do.

The good news is you don't need to wait for the stewardship campaign! Please consider giving regularly if you don't already, and if you do, think about increasing your monthly giving. If we all raised our giving by a little, it will make a much greater differencethan if one or two give even more. Remember -God loves a cheerful (joyful) giver - and I hope to give to support these ministries does give you joy. I hope that the items I have mentioned in this newsletter also give you a real sense of hope and purpose for what we will continue to do as a church, and the new things that we plan to do.

Please help to resource this vision through giving, prayer and encouragement. these are exciting times for us, and if you feel on the fringes of the life of our church, now would be a great time for you to begin to get more involved.
